چکیده
Carbon-supported, non-noble metal-based catalysts derived from metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are attractive alternatives to noble systems, but typical syntheses of the starting MOFs not desirable an environmental and practical perspective (e.g., they rely on non-innocuous organic solvents long reaction times). Here, we report preparation a Ni-based MOF in aqueous medium, at moderate temperature (95 °C) short time (<30 min), which was used as sacrificial template access family Ni nanoparticle/carbon hybrids that were then tested reduction 4-nitrophenol (4-NP). The MOF-derived exhibited mesoporous texture, with specific surface areas between ?250 450 m2 g?1 depending carbonization applied MOF, well high contents (between ?36 57 wt%). Notwithstanding latter, metal homogeneously distributed throughout carbon matrix hybrid quite resistant extensive agglomeration sintering, even temperatures 1000 °C. With increasing temperature, component seen go through different crystal phases, i.e., Ni3C phase ? hexagonal close-packed face-centered cubic phase. results catalytic tests suggested former latter phases be most active towards 4-NP, activity values 0.039 mol4-NP molNi?1 min?1.

Optimization of solvothermally synthesized ZIF-67 metal organic framework and its application for Cr(VI) adsorption from aqueous solution
In this study, ZIF-67 was synthesized through solvothermal method to remove Cr(VI) ions from aqueous solution. To improve the structural properties of ZIF-67 and its adsorption capacity, optimization of the synthesis conditions was carried out based on maximum Cr(VI) uptake. From experiments, the optimum condition was revealed as solvent: metal ion molar ratio of 4.6:1, ligand: metal ion molar ...

As a novel performance, methanol gas conversion to dimethoxymethane (DMM) in one-step based on Fe-Mo-O (iron molybdate mixed oxides) catalysts with high surface area fabricated by metal organic frameworks (MOFs) precursors was improved. For this approach, at first, Fe(III) precursors (iron (III) 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate (MIL-100 (Fe) and iron terephthalate (MOF-...

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) functionalized carbon nanotubes exhibited better catalytic performance than their nitric acid oxidized counterparts in the reduction of nitrobenzene. One important reason may be attributed to the notably less negative oxygenated groups on the surface of the former one.

High levels of iron-nitrogen doped porous carbon materials are obtained from MOF-253 using a step-by-step post-synthetic modification strategy. MOF-253 possessing open 2,2'-bipyridine nitrogen sites not only serves as a precursor but also provides chelate bonding sites for Fe2+. Followed by further impregnation of 1,10-phenanthroline, high surface area porous carbon materials are obtained. For ...

In this study, an amide-functionalized metal-organic framework, namely TMU-24 was selected to adsorb Co(II) from wastewater with an adsorption capacity of 500 mg. g-1 in less than 20 minutes in neutral pH (pH=7). The effect of diverse parameters such as adsorbent dosage, competitive ions, and contact time on the adsorption process was investigated to find the optimal amounts of them. Also, the ...
